Welcome to my blog!

My name is Melissa Bohls, a senior at Baylor University. I'm a student, teacher, sister, daughter, and friend among other things.


I have created this blog for YOU and my friends to experience my England internship with me... I'll do the work and you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights!


Currently, I am seeking an Elementary Education and Special Education major at Baylor. This fall semester 2011, I was an intern at Lake Waco Montessori Magnet as an inclusion special education teacher for grades 1-5. I learned a lot from my amazing mentor and the students at Lake Waco! I will be spending the last 4 weeks of my fall internship in England!! Look at About The School page for more information on my placement, and feel free to explore the rest of the blog. I have been blessed with so many wonderful opportunities and people. I want to say thank you to my grandparents, who have given me my education, the resources to travel abroad, and unconditional love. Thank you to my aunt, uncle, and cousins who have always been there for me and love me completely - without my aunt, I would not be at Baylor today (she has amazing skills). Thank you Dad and Karen, for guiding me and being a constant strength and source of love. You are so patient and helpful, despite the messes I make at home. Thank you Matt and Whitney for being more than family but best friends. I'm such a fan of you both. Thank you to my roommates and my friends - you have changed me for the better! Finally, thank you to my Baylor professors and mentor teachers. I have learned so much and strive to be as much of a positive influence on my students as you have been to me.


BTW that adorable dog is Harlee Elizabeth. She is my puppy and I love her. Hence her appearance.
